The Beaufort Shrimp Festival presents the Run Forrest Run 5K Run/Walk, October 6th, 2018 at 8:00 AM on Bay at Newcastle Street. This Forrest Gump themed 5K will run through historic downtown Beaufort, through beautiful tree covered streets, and cross over the famous Woods Memorial bridge. Take your picture with Forrest Gump in the park. Refreshments provided to all runners & walkers.

The Run Forrest Run 5K Bridge Run/Walk is held in conjunction with the Beaufort Shrimp Festival scheduled for October 5 & October 6, 2018.

Online registration  ends Thursday, October 4th  at 11:59 pm
On-site registration will be available 6:30am – 7:30am the race day.

Race packets can be picked up:
Friday, 10/5, 4:00-6:00pm on West Street Extension
or Saturday, 10/6 before the race at the Start/Finish Line

This is a Forrest Gump themed 5K. Run the course Forrest Gump made famous. Take your picture with Forrest on the bench in the park. Shrimp boat awards to top 3 in each age division. Shrimp Boats to the overall winners. Best Forrest Gump costume awards.
